With its prime location five miles from downtown Dallas and easy access to the Old Town Shopping Center, The Village Town Center is a residential development that includes retail and office space, hotel, members’ only fitness center, golf course and private club.
Watry Design was brought in to provide parking planning solutions for two below grade parking structures that would service retail and office space and three below grade residential parking structures for a total of 1,177 stalls. As the development was designed to be a walkable community, Watry recommended that the design incorporate a number of bike racks, bike lockers or secured bike parking rooms to accommodate for a large number of bikers expected to utilize the space, which can then reduce the number of parking spaces required for the project.
