To develop a state-of-the-art, innovative campus that champions collaboration and unifies its workforce, Intuitive elected to expand its Sunnyvale headquarters.

When complete, manufacturing, engineering and corporate offices will be integrated into one connected campus spanning over 30 acres and 1.2 million square feet that includes open space, recreational areas, an amenity building and dining facilities.

Watry Design was asked to design a 1,679 stall parking structure to support the expanded campus. To tie the building into the architecture of the surrounding campus, the structure's façade will feature channel glass fins and glass-backed elevators wrapped with a metal mesh. A two-story central utility plant (CUP) will extend all along the south façade.

In support of the campus' pursuit of LEED Gold, photovoltaic panels will cover the entire top deck of the structure and 35% of parking spaces will provide level 2 EV charging stations on day one, with provisions for another 35% in the future.
