When Hines wanted to develop two irregular shaped sites, they along with Architect Form4 brought Watry Design onboard to develop the parking solution for the entitlement package. Although approved, the project stalled along with the economy. During that time, the team studied various options to bring the project costs down. As a part of that effort, Watry Design looked at several fully automated solutions.
When the economy showed life again, Hines decided to build the project on spec. Since the transit oriented development ratios for office use is lower than what the market would prefer, Hines once again asked Watry Design to help solve the perceived parking shortage. After a careful review, the valet assist and full valet options were found to provide the flexibility Hines was looking for to meet the needs of future tenants.
