When we think about the patient journey, we usually start at the front door of a medical campus. But where their experience really starts is in the car. Creating a positive parking experience has the power to improve customer satisfaction.
Imagine if a visiting patient could obtain appointment and parking information on their phone before they leave home, be guided right to an open space upon entering the parking facility and pay via mobile app. The result is likely to be a less stress, more relaxed and on-time patient.
However, realizing this vision can be a challenge. Today's healthcare facilities face a number of restraints when planning new projects.
