Parksmart Certification (formerly Green Garage Certification)

Per the USGBC, stand-alone parking structures are not eligible for LEED certification. However, when a project contains a significant mixed-use component in the same footprint as a parking structure, certification becomes a possibility.

On stand-alone parking structures, Watry Design helps our clients meet LEED equivalent goals for our projects and most recently can assist with Parksmart Certification, a new rating system, that has been established specifically for parking structures.

Developed through the collaboration of over 200 industry professionals, the process promotes a holistic and sustainable approach to parking design. Does, or can, your facility do just 15 of the actions found on this Parksmart checklist? If so, you might want to consider Parksmart certification.

Trained to provide this certification, the Watry team is ready to assist you. For more information email us at info@watrydesign.com.
