In addition to extending a segment of Panama Mall for pedestrians, extending Via Ortega to Santa Teresa Street and adding a pedestrian and bicycle pathway linking Samuel Morris Way and Governors Corner, this project will enable Stanford University to meet current parking demand and give it some cushion while at the same time keeping Roble Field.

Stanford University hired the design/build team of Watry Design, Inc. and Vance Brown Builders to make their vision a reality. Located between the Arrillaga Outdoor Education, the Recreation Center and Roble Gym, the 5 level below grade structure will incorporate pedestrian entrances to the garage via 3 stair and elevator cores. These pedestrian cores will also provide shade trellises and bike parking for recreation field users. The parking structure provides 28 EV car charging stations on Level P1. In preparation of future demand, Levels P2 through P5 were prepped for an additional 28 EV car charging stations per level.

Watry Design is assisting the University with Gold Parksmart Certification.
