Located in a transit-rich area just north of Levi’s Stadium, this development is comprised of two primary components, a downtown City Center and peripheral office campuses with a new bike and pedestrian network and upgrades to public transit access that will integrate seamlessly with existing systems throughout the area. Downtown City Center creates a gathering place for visitors, shoppers, and workers and is made up of four districts each with its own unique personality and lifestyle affiliation– the Gateway, Station, Boulevard, and Hotel.
Related's team is designing the development for LEED certification and is currently exploring sustainable options for the optimization of water and energy usage, as well as other best practices. City Place will be developed in phases beginning with the City Center. Future phases consisting of office space, with a mix of retail and food and beverage offerings, will be developed over a period of 10-15 years.
As part of the parking solution for this project, Watry Design is advising Related Companies on adaptive re-use strategies for structured parking.
